Leann has the kind of voice that pulls you into anything she says. And when she speaks its with a no nonsense realism. She tells it like it is, entertaining and informing. Leann doesn't have a monotone voice or style and I think its great more people have a chance to experience her ability.

Leann is consistently funny, easy to listen to, and extremely insightful. Her work at Podiobooks and her own show are highlights to my week. Win, lose, or draw in this particular contest... anyone who discovers Leann is most certainly a winner.

I am so tired of corporate radio and the serious lack of intellegence in the average show. Leann is smart and, get this, funny. It is a rare enough combination these days. Vote Leann and help make the world a smarter and more humorous place. Who couldn't use a little humor in their lives?

I've been listening to Leann for many moons and I am so thrilled that she's doing this. She's very intelligent and very talented. Best of luck and nuttin' but love. By the way, what accent are they talking about?
Leann has an awesome voice, as well as being very witty and intelligent. I could listen to her all day!
I look forward to her winning!
Nuh-uh. It adds more interest to an already interesting personality. You're clearly comfortable in front of a mic. One of the better entries I've heard. Good luck!
I kinda like the voice and slight accent. I also enjoyed your personality a lot. Good luck!
Check me out if you'd like!

lose the accent. work your words. editing is stiff - too tight. voice is great.
Maybe it's because I've been listening to Leann's fine work for a while, but I did not detect an accent in the slightest. Leann certainly has a broad range with her voice, but that's positive, and not negative. I think this short 2 minute clip only scratches the surface of her depth of talent. I am quite certain she would keep listeners' attention throughout an entire audio story, and seeking her out for future commentary.
if you don't hear the accent, you are either deaf or from even deeper in the south. that said, i think she has a lovely voice and the accent gives her character. a bit "this is my staged articulate radio voice" at times, but one of the better candidates i've heard for certain. good luck to you.
Public radio does not have to equal bland "non-accent" voices. I'm guessing you've never listened to public radio anywhere but your local region. Most regional broadcasters keep their accents and no one complains. And, you don't hear of anyone telling Fiona Ritchie to "lose the accent," do you?
There's no "i coulda been a contender" about Leann at all. She's the real deal. Not only does her wonderful voice carry over well in her podcasts, but so does her personality, wit and charm.
Leann could easily be a host on any radio station. Her smooth voice and razor sharp wit keep everyone entertained.
Leann has such a great voice. Very sultry. Also, the things she has to say are pretty darn funny and insightful.
Leann has everything you would want in a radio personality. She can win over a male audience with her voice, charm, wit, and perfect comedic timing.
At the same time she relates to "real women" through honest and no holds barred opinions and viewpoints backed up with life-stories and observations that make you laugh out loud and/or think about things in ways you never anticipated.
It has been a pleasure to listen to Leann's Tag in the Seam podcast for the last year, and she certainly deserves a shot in this competition.
Tag in the Seam is always a great podcast to listen to, really shows your talent. You would make a very engaging host for any radio show, great job with your submissions here, and good luck.
I have really enjoyed listening to Leann's show and it showcases her talent for interviewing, writing and her sultry voice. I could listen to her read something like the phone book, all day long!
Leann has the voice, the charisma, and the wit to bring the hostiness to NPR, and is a top contender in this Talent Quest. Given her sample a listen, if you don't believe me, and give her your vote!
I like your acty voice, the podcast intro voice, it was really cool! Very strong entry, I bet you could get a job at your local even without this contest.
Hope We Hear More!

Her shows have gotten my wife and I talking about so many things that we wouldn't have otherwise. Informative, smart, and funny- we never miss her show.
Leann's voice is one of the butteriest I've heard. It's lovely, and she's got the sass and talent to carry a show.
