What's your favorite sound memory?

Traveling with the principals of the Bulgarian State Opera from Venice to Budapest when the train was double booked and I refused to surrender my seat. One skinny backpacker, seven divas*, endless thimbles-full of thick coffee and biting eau du vie turned into a raucous night of them singing traditional Bulgarian folk songs in perfect harmony and ear-splitting volume and me cheering them along... until they asked me to sing a traditional song from my country.

*What is a male diva? A divo?
