train whistles -- I'm in the suburbs of Washington, DC but I love that there's a rail line just about a mile away. It sounds like the open road, except, you know, it's a train...

What's your favorite sound memory?

Once I was sitting on lake in Canada fishing and and the sun was setting and then someone on shore played 'Crazy' by Patsy Cline.

At the time, I realized that this was an amazing moment, and just too perfect. Luckily the moment is stopped by being "Hallmark" because the guy I was with at the time proceeded to leave me and break my heart viciously.

kinda makes the whole thing bittersweet. . . and probably better.
